Dan both an alumnus ('92) and parent of an alumnus of ASIJ.  He has worked in government for the past 28 years and has spent 11 years living in Japan.  He is new to the Board of Directors having joined in May 2024.  As the U.S. Defense Attache, Dan serves on the Board as the U.S. Embassy representative.
